The Nevzlin Center for Jewish Peoplehood at Interdisciplinary Center (IDC) Herzliya

The Center launched in 2010, is the newest initiative of the NADAV Foundation aimed at transforming the concept of Jewish Peoplehood into academic discipline. The courses on Jewish peoplehood aim to cultivate a common identity among the students and reinforce their sense of belonging to the Jewish people and their recognition of a global “we,” while preserving their values as individuals. more>

The Research Unit on Jewish Peoplehood

The Research Unit on Jewish Peoplehood was established in April 2009 at the School of Education of Tel Aviv University in order to create an academic force that will generate a recognition of the need to learn and be acquainted with the contemporary Jewish people in both formal and informal education system. more>

THE CENTROPA POLISH EXHIBITION IN ISRAEL

Between 2001 and 2007, Centropa interviewed 65 Holocaust survivors still living in Poland and digitized 1,600 of their privately held family photographs. Combining these pictures and stories in a searchable, online database, Centropa has created an exhibition of more than eighty roll-up banners (each of them two-meters tall), and on each, a picture and story from those interviews. Visiting this exhibition is like strolling through an enormous family album of memories, which date from the 1922 to 2002. more>
