Leonid Nevzlin

Initiator and Major Founder

Leonid Nevzlin is a businessman and philanthropist who made Aliyah from Moscow in 2003. He spent his early adulthood in influential positions in both the private and public sectors in Russia including: Rector of Moscow’s University of the Humanities, Deputy Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of Parliament and President of the Russian-Jewish Congress.

Nevzlin is the Chairman of the International Board of Governors of Beit Hatfutsot: The Museum of the Jewish People, Associate Chairman of the Jewish People Policy Institute (JPPI), He also sits on the Board of Governors of the Jewish Agency for Israel and the Board of Trustees of Keren Hayesod–United Israel Appeal, the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and Tel Aviv University.

Irina Nevzlin Kogan

President

Irina Nevzlin Kogan, President of the NADAV Foundation since 2007, earned a Masters degree in Economics and went on to work in government relations and strategic communications in Moscow and London.

Irina made Aliya in 2006 and chose to focus on philanthropy. She first established the Nevzlin Family Foundation, which directly assists children with cancer and blood diseases, and then launched the Israeli Center for Better Childhood. The Center, which was created in partnership with Mr. Sabby Mionis, focuses on improving the welfare and educational opportunities of disadvantaged Israeli children. Ms. Nevzlin Kogan also directs the Center.

Michal Kelman

Director of External Relations

With her background in both business and philanthropy, Michal brings to the NADAV Foundation a strong sense of commitment and enthusiasm.

Prior to joining the foundation, Michal held a variety of key positions at JVP (Jerusalem Venture Partners), starting out as an executive assistant and advancing to a Strategic Director, responsible for both business and philanthropic strategy for JVP venture capital and JVP Community non-profit. Her last position was Director of Marketing and Communications for JVP various activities: funds, incubator, non-profit and more.

Michal graduated from Bar Ilan Univerisity with B.A. in Social Work and from Clark University with Master of Public Administration.

Ariel (Nikolay) Borschevsky

Project Director

Ariel Borschevskiy graduated from St Petersburg University with an MA in Japanese Culture and a PhD in Comparative Religion. In Russia he worked in the Oriental Department of the Museum of the History of Religions.

After making Aliyah to Israel in 1990, Ariel worked in the field of Jewish education and conducted sociological research in Jewish identity at Oranim, The Academic College of Education.

Ariel brought his former experience in initiating Jewish Peoplehood projects with him and by doing so, has contributed to the NADAV Foundation with his world vision and academic approach.

Ira Dolgin

Project Manager

Ira graduated from Hebrew University in Jerusalem and David Yellin Academic College of Education. She has gained extensive experience as Pedagogical Coordinator working with learning disabled and emotionally challenged children in Educational-Therapeutic Center "Yad Rachel".

In recent years Ira redirected her professional energy towards public relations, and held a range of positions in Time-Out Magazine, Music-Box Channel, election campaign for Knesset.

Since joining the NADAV Foundation, Ira has displayed creative thinking, analytic approach and determination, managing projects and NADAV's Internet activities.

Meital Kahlon

Financial Coordinator

Prior to joining the NADAV Foundation, Meital has gained a six years’ experience in the field of alternative medicine - the Verdi system, diagnosis and treatment of various developmental disabilities. Meital graduated from the Non Profit Organisations Management course and today she is a financial coordinator of the foundation. Among her responsibilities are NADAV’s budget planning, control, managing and monitoring operating performance – contracts with suppliers/employees' contracts, information systems. She is also responsible for NADAV accounting system’s representation to the external audits etc. Meital is a central axis of NADAV’s activity, and her main role is to create a guideline in cooperation with various projects/suppliers and a financial work frame that optimises the foundation’s general conduct.

Noga Steinmetz

Executive Assistant

Noga is a M.A. graduate of the European Forum at the Hebrew University, with a specialization in French Studies. Prior to joining the NADAV Foundation she spent three years at the Political Department of the Israeli Embassy in Paris. Her contribution includes assisting the President of the Foundation in every professional aspect such as research and follow up on existing projects, preparing a basis for new beginnings and making sure that everyone is on track. Her extensive expertise in research and analytical abilities help the team to deepen the knowledge in the relevant fields.

Rebecca Lieberman

US Representative

Rebecca represents the NADAV Foundation in North America and assists in the development of strategic partnerships in the region. She also serves as Secretary of the International Board of Governors of Beit Hatfutsot, the Museum of the Jewish People.

Rebecca graduated from Barnard College of Columbia University and the University of Pennsylvania School of Law. She has held leadership positions in non-profits focused on education, children and families, and launched an organization dedicated to non-partisan voter mobilization.

Rebecca serves on the boards the Jewish Community Relations Council of New York and KolDor, a global network of next generation leaders working to promote and act on Jewish peoplehood values.
